Zbuckster wrote:Glad to see the "jawbreaker" kit back out. It is really the John Milner Dragster kit reboxed. All you need is declas fromn the Milner Dragster and you are good to go. I know it has a Hemi and the Milner car had a Small Block Chevy, But the kit as been that way since day one. LOL
The Dragster body for Milner's dragster is not in the kit Buck I have 2 Milner dragster kits, 1 complete and 1 not so with this jawbreaker kit I have the parts to complete that kit to build with a SBC installed but that's down the road a ways

Large scale kits are much more scarce, so the price isn't so bad. The '34 is unknown to me, quite a neat set o' wheels!

I'll be dipped, John. I thought it was all there but the decals. My bad. I stand corrected.

Fabulous looking kit! That old Ferrari will be a fine addition to the collection. You'll do it proud.

One of my neighbors is cleaning out his home and down sizing. he is going to buy a Motorhome and see America. I know Mike and Cindy will have a ball doing that. Anyway yesterday he brought this stuff over to the house and gave it to me. he said he isn't sure how long this stuff as been in his attic. Anyway me being a modeler he gave me all the stuff. Thank Ya, Mike.
C-130 Aircraft.
another Airplane I know nothing about. LOL
Then the plastic container with stuff in it.
Inside the container were model paints, glue, paintbrushes and a model of a Triumph Motor cycle that was been started. It looks fairly simple to take apart and paint and detail. I think I will try to do that and maybe if I can get it done, give it back to Mike and Cindy toi put into their new motorhome. Just a memory for the road.
Thanks Mike.

My latest boxes which I got today at the show, sorry guys I didnt have enough time to even look through the competition entries never mind take some photo's
Hoping that in about 20 years these 2 might be worth something?
This is going to hold the R35 below whenever its finished, though it will be a road car not like the box art and I already have a p/e set for it
Something a little different, 44cm long when built, it will be a beast!
Finally some Alclad stuff

£15 mate, £18 for the merc, £6.50 for the display case, £22 for the Alfa, £15 Cobra, £10 wrecker, £17 R35, £20 predator and £20 for the Alclad stuff
Didnt realise that the wrecker was a snap kit but looking in the box it definitely needs painting, dont think the free knife is in it though :(

£143.00...... you got away light for Telford Ash!!! LOL
I drove Justine to York to-day for a meeting, so naturally I visited the two model shops there. Came away with these:
Ford 3 litre GT, crappy little kit but the only game in town (as far as I know) if you want this car. Which BTW I think is even better looking than the GT40. I didn't want the crappy paints that come with it but to the best of my knowledge, this re-issue is only available in a 'starter' kit!!
I got these for my 'Mile End Garage' dio:
And I got a wooden netty for it too.

Out house made in the Czech Republic. Former state-of-the-art style. All the other kits make me drool. Alfa (DTM racing series?) like the others of the type is so cooool!!!!

Ran out of time Al there others to had seen and kinda regret not buying them but too late now!
The Alfa was on my list to buy but wanted the Martini version, I heard that it's coming out after Christmas so I can wait, came home and bought some more off eBay too ... I'm addicted to box collecting

Nice little haul Al, will be nice to see the items up and ready, I'm off to York next weekend to the Christmas market, don't think I will be allowed to go box hunting though

Re: Styrene Addict. Show us your latest kits here.
If you are, the two model shops are P&S models and Monkbar model Shop.
The latter is a typical 21st century shop, small selection of styrene models, lots of diecast and railway stuff.
The first is real old style. Tiny and CRAMMED full of stuff. Run by an old geezer just like me!!! LOL

Ash, the only thing I know about the Austin is that when Revell re-issued it, it brought the value of my original issue kit down.
