Thats sweet looking ! Paul just picked up a sweet 73 Daytona, and I will be bringing home a 68 Bonneville next month.

Re: Latest addition to the garage.
I thought a few of you would like to see that - but a Hell's Angel I'm not, far from it - just liking the chopper style.
I'm a Petrolhead - cars, bikes, classic cars, Italian scooters - anything with wheels and an engine, I'm into it.
The bike was bought unseen from the other end of the country, via Ebay, and arrived a couple of days ago,
but it's well engineered, runs, forks don't twist and a very comfortable riding position
- but not too keen on the feet forward riding style - and it generaly needs finishing off.
The Yamaha FZ was my last bike but after being diagnosed with a heart condition a few years ago,
insurance costs went through the roof, and my big biking days were done.
My son rides the classic ZXR 1200 Kawasaki, and the chop is his too.
Plans are together we will finish the Triumph and give it some bling - metalflake orange with '70's fishscale airbrushing?
I'll keep you posted, and thanks for looking.

'H' reg the first time round Ron? How old is it or has it just got an earlier numberplate?
That would make it almost as old as me. LOL

Re: Latest addition to the garage.
...gotcha Shay !
My thoughts were for High Rise 'ape-hanger' handlebars at first (ala Easy Rider),
but the riding position is very comfortable with the straight bars
- and those long forks will need extra muscle to control as they fall easily from side to side.
...and the current bars are especially made to bolt directly into the custom top yoke,
so not an easy swap.
It's early days - so you never know how it'll turn out.
