Re: Bantam Street Rod - A Parts Box Build
Very interesting idea! All Bantam models I've seen were extreme drag cars. This could be a real beauty!

Re: Bantam Street Rod - A Parts Box Build
I remember applauding your rescue of a body section and building something from it, so
It looks great in the last photo, though just a piece of the rear and the frame it already has a feel to it. Looking forward to seeing this one develop!

Re: Bantam Street Rod - A Parts Box Build
Thanks for all the comments and support. It keeps you going. I've made a little more progress and here is what I've assembled together for the build along with a mock-up. One of these day's I'll get the firewall to engine spacing down; but, I'll press forward with this one. Key components I need are headlights, a wind screen, and a dash.
Thanks for looking,
Chris

Nice! There's already a strong 'personality' to this build - can't wait to see more

I like where you are heading with this one Chris.
If you can find one, may I suggest a Duval windscreen? That would look way cool.

Re: Bantam Street Rod - A Parts Box Build
My hectic schedule only allows me to build in small snippets of time. Here is some of the progress made on the Bantam. For the plug wires I used a heavier gauge beading wire then I usually employ. I usually use a radio shack wire that is more to scale and is easier to shape to how you want it to lay.
