Wide Ford 429 engine fits excellently with the wide Bantam body. Pretty clever!!

Big Ford engine looking great !!
I used to use Radio Shack wrap wire all the time until I ran out the last time and was dismayed that they no longer carried it. I had the clerk look thru their catalog, and he couldn't find it. Bummer !

Looking good Spanky.
You guys might want to try this for HT leads:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Breadboard-B-30-1000-Tin-Plated-Copper-Wire-Wrapping-30AWG-Cable-305M-Blue-SP-/172212275228?hash=item2818a6c81c:g:YycAAOSwvg9XbLQk
It's a smidge over scale but not really noticeable when installed. It's as cheap as chips at £3.67 + free shipping for 1000 ft. Available in a variety of colours too or as a mixed pack for £5.67:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/P-N-B-30-1000-200M-30AWG-8-Wire-Colored-Insulation-Wrapping-Cable-SP-/201611803307?hash=item2ef0fffaab:g:KPIAAOSwOVpXcCn1
Being a soft single core, it is easy to 'drape' and holds it shape well.
I have been using similar stuff for the last ten years but the insulation on this latest batch strips reall easy with a thumbnail, which aids in placement.

Re: Bantam Street Rod - A Parts Box Build
Thanks again for all the Feedback and comments. Skid, thank you for the link for wrapping wire. Radio Shack shutting down a lot of store fronts has definitely been inconvenient.
Here is the progress I've been making:
Headers were made from solder and plastic stock:
Up on wheels with a mock of the engine and body.
The rear wheels are not as centered as I would like so I have to adjust some more of the frame at the Z to adjust fit. This will also help move the engine a bit closer to the firewall.

One of the problems with "monster slicks" is having a fendered vehicle sitting high. The engine does look good with that body, nice engine work.

Looking good! Minor adjustments to the fit and placement are a constant with 'bashed' builds - looking forward to seeing the next developments!

Those wheels are quite popular here lately. I'm using them on my 1964 Fairlane build.
