Ayrton Senna JPS Lotus
This is the Tamiya Lotus Camel car kit with F1 Specialists conversion decals. I took liberty with the colour of the rims. The decals were a real good challenge, each pin stripe is individual and not part of a clear decal with the letters printed on them. The tires were race weathered with tire sanding dust mixed with white glue then rolling the tire in it. " />

Re: Ayrton Senna JPS Lotus
Thanks guys. I wish I had kept this and not given it away, it's one of my best paint jobs ever. There's about 10 coats of clear over the decals, and the decals being so thin they were covered real easy.

I have an old black JPS windbreaker I got at a resale store long ago. Your model is a champ and makes this old bird smile!

Nice build. Those decals sound like a challenge.

Re: Ayrton Senna JPS Lotus
Thanks guys, the decals took about 2hrs. I used a tiny 0/0 brush and lots of Micro Set and kept the decals wet really helped.
harron I'd love to have that jacket, glad I could put a smile on your face.001
