58 Edsel Pacer.
Hi gents, thought I would show my take on the most unloved car of all time. But one with an amazing options list.
It is painted in a Tamiya candy blue with black roof and accents, the wheels are big moderns and it took about 3 hours to mask the wheels so that the spokes could be done body colour!
Apart from the home made discs, wheels and colour it is pretty much oob.Ohh yeahh and dropped at the front. It is an AMT/ERTL kit and VERY nicely engineered,I would certainly recommend it to anyone interested in Edsels.

Great lookin' Ed-sel! LoL I've always found these cars kinda sexy. Odd design, but bein' the 50's who'd a thunk? Great paint. Love the flames and the wheels give it a nice 90's Custom Feel. Great job! 8)

Nice Edsel. You don't see this kit built much. You did an excellent job.

Re: 58 Edsel Pacer.
If I had the bucks when the kits came out I'd have bought a number. Edsels were unusual and about as overdone in design as the '58 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser.
On the wheelmasking, for odd and compound curves, there's a rubber-cement-like "liquid frisket" which is a nice possibility. Thanx for doing an odd and underloved make.

Nice job Nigel. I've always really liked the Edsel. A guy I worked for had one back in 1960 or so. I got to drive it once and loved it. Too much money for me at the time though.
