1969 Talladega rebuild.
I don't feel like building from the ground up right now so I figure I will fix this one up.
One shot icy blue right over the original black paint... Gave the blue such a nice color. I did light coats till I got the shade I wanted... About 3 I think it was. So the black is still a shade visible when turned right. Which is just what I was going for...
Here's how it used to look...
Not bad but so boring...
More in a while... O and if I can find the dash board that will get installed this time around lol
Also clear is all ready done. 2 mist 3 wet of duplicolor clear... Photos in a little. Give it another hour to dry.

Nice start. Good shade of Blue for the body style.

That's a beautiful body.
It'll look good no matter what color. That black didn't look so bad.

Also I figure ill show some shots of the before...
And a little on the plans. May swap the motor for something blown... Idk
Interior to match exterior. And maybe wheels and stance. Might lower it some and get the wheels to sit flush with the wheel wells...

Wow! That's amazing! Great job! The before pictures are amazing too. Love the scale dogs. LoL As far as the engine. Go something Shelby-ish and keep it under the hood. Jus' a thought. The lines of these cars is sexy and sleek. 8)

Re: 1969 Talladega rebuild.
Some speed equipment and aggressive wheels would have give that black beauty plenty of interesting attitude.

When did you first build this? I seem to recall seeing it. Nice work on the resto.
