Revell JL. Hannah Tanker T2-
Ahoy
Here is another Revell classic I had at the same time when I bought the Hawaiian Pilot Like the Hawaiian Pilot it was a short run kit released in 1956 through 1958 the Hawaiian Pilot the same time too. The kit was molded in dark redish brown plastic the T2 tanker was the mainstay of the Naval oilers and merchant marine. The steamship company My JL Hannah represents is Standard Oil Co. Here she is underway ships colors.

That looks like a fine ship Franklyn.
How about linking photos to the full size image, instead of the thumbnalis.? We'd be able to appreciatte your work even more.
I remember building one just like that when I was a nipper back in the late fifties very early sixties.

I though this might be a new thread....but still good anyway.
I remember my father building the Revell series ships that included the Hawaiian Pilot, Hospital ship, and Landing Craft Ship....that must be around 50 years ago!

I'm surprised by the number of lines to and from the masts. The scale at least makes that job a bit easier. Good to see one of the "workhorses" that kept things going. They may not be powerful, fast or with battle awards, but without them we'd be lost. Thanx!
