If I were building that and wanted that cool looking Hemi in it and it was too far forward, I would've shortened the driveshaft.
Skid, if you get into these difficulties doing this kind of severe modifications, you might have to resort to "imagineering" :drunken:
This'll be a sweet looking hot rod when you get it together. Just don't give up on it!

The frame cut helps lower the rear so everything sits right. Lookin' potent!

Re: Chopped 1934 Ford Coupe.
Thanks guys.
Clay, the Hemi was never really on. I think it's way to big for the undesized body and I have long been a fan of your 'imagineering'
My friend called in to-day and I showed him where I was up to. I showed him the tunnel ram version but he's asked me to do the blower version!!
So with the engine and headers now decided upon the frame is being stripped of paint and will receive the same colour as the body.
In the meantime, I decided to give it a wooden floor.

Re: Chopped 1934 Ford Coupe.
I got the colour coats on this afternoon. It's three coats of Zero paints Coarse Metalic Silver Candy Base, followed by four coats of their Candy Electric Blue Base paint. (non-gloss)
The dash and the chassis are done in the same colour.
Next up will be the 2K gloss coats.
Assuming I can get them to fit, I think the white scallops I have for it will work well with the colour.

The firewall is different, not bad just different. Looks like the engine still needs to go back some. Maybe it's the camera angle.

Re: Chopped 1934 Ford Coupe.
I like the firewall flattened down some. Gives it a more hammered look. Great work! I agree with Buck but it could be the camera angle. Can't wait to see more. 8)

I just popped the body on for the photo guys. I doubt it's in the right position.
