MAKING YOUR OWN BODY FILLER BY: JSTBB
Go to your local paint store and buy a can of MEK. (Liquid plastic weld)
Pore some of the MEK in a glass bottle ( with a lid ) and place some styrene scraps in it. As the scraps dissolve add more styrene to the mixture.
Eventually you will have a styrene putty that you can use instead of Bondo. This putty adheres to the model body with no problem as it is the same "stuff". Also this putty will not shrink.
A WORD OF CAUTION,
Be sure that the lid on the jar is tight and that the cap on the can is tight also. You have two reasons for this action: #1 the MEK is bad for you if you breathe it and #2 The MEK evaporates so fast that you can almost see it disappear if left in the open
