I once believed the few pieces and small scale made them too basic. After seeing improvements with home-made and later photo etched parts as well as weathering and battle damage and the variety of color combos, now I can see and appreciate the variety, thanks!

This is great! Have had so many fit issues with their 1:24th version.

Buck I used Tamiya "Bare Metal Silver" AS-12 for aircrafts

bought the can for trim work on some my car builds and now I used it for what Tamiya made for :D

Plane is looking good. I still think that the P51 is one of the prettiest prop-driven planes out there. It can only be topped by hearing one at idle on the tarmac at an air show :D .
