1959 Cadillac S&S Hearse - "The Undertaker"
So first off. What do you do with a hearse once it's been retired? Well turn it into a Rat Rod Spookster! The Undertaker started life as an Ecto1 S&S Combo Hearse/Ambulance. I got this car, a Resin Hearse (more than likely a Flintstone creation), and a cool casket off Ebay. Didn't like the Resin hearse so I did a li'l magic and worked with Ecto1. So shall we begin? First was filling holes, finding new wheels, and figuring out where to go from there. Wheels are from the Black Force Slammer kit.
Um ride height was way too high for a Rat Rod. Had to fix that! So I lowered the suspension by drilling new holes for the axles. A scale 3" drop! Much much better!
And here is that cool casket. It's a solid chunk of resin with pewter handles.

Part 2! ;) Where were we...... O'Yeah! The Undertaker. Hehe Well since I had a cool casket to go with this car it was a crying shame to let it sit outside all alone. Since Ecto's body is sealed tighter than Grant's tomb, I had to fix that too. So I opened the rear door and hinged it. I also did some massaging the rear floor and removed the Ambulance Seat so the casket would fit inside the car.

And with the casket:
I BMF'd the cross and corners then sprayed the casket with a gloss black enamel. I used a Q-Tip to remove the black paint from the cross and corners where I BMF'd them.
I left the load floor with flaws to show age and wear. I painted the interior blood red. Hey it's only fitting for a hearse. LoL
And with the casket in the tub.
Well that's it for the build pics. See y'all in the NMA's. :)
