Paul's NASCAR thread.
From 97-99, I worked for a Saturn dealership which was owned by Rick Hendrick. Needless to say, the place was a little Nascar crazy. During that time I built quite a few Nascar's and would display them at work, changing them every week. I wanted to share them with my modeling friends also, so instead of flooding the board with a lot of threads, I will post them here in one thread. I'll do one every week until I'm through them all.
I'll start off with the Hendrick car of Jeff Gordon. Even though this looks like the standard Dupont paint scheme, this was a one race only scheme. It's called the Million Dollar Date because the prize for winning three selected races was $1,000,000. Jeff had already won the first two selected races. The third race was at Darlington, which is where this car appeared.

Re: Paul's NASCAR thread.
This is going to be a real treat guys. Paul has a lot of NASCAR builds and he has kindly agreed to show them here in this thread.
It's his thread, so please don't hijack it.
This first one looks like it just came of the track Paul. Nice one.

Junior Johnson seemed like a "good old boy" but when it came to racin' he was ALL business! Thanks for the fine work!

I like how Taz is tryin' to rip the paint scheme of the car in the rear quarter. Another excellent Nascar build. Great work! 8)

Nice work! respect. I like the old Chevy got to be with Al on that one as I love American motors from the start of the Muscle car era 60,s-70,s.
