And plenty of torque! All when conventional wisdom said FWD was only good for low powered small cars.
I've got a '72 Toranado somewhere in the stash.
Chassis is done, I had to put the tyres into boiling water to soften them enough to get 'em on the rims.
Interior is nearly there.
It was missing the cornering lights in the front guards, so I've filled them. Easier than scratch building lenses.

Messing with you. I'll be building it with stick wheels. Though l do like it with modern rims & rubber.
Tamiya lighrt gunmetal. Not bad gloss straight from the can, a polish should really light it up.

Good looking - but just plain wrong with FWD to my mind.

X2, have a look at the suspension, they might even fit, I had a bigblock Mustang kit with optional big alloys, they filled out the arches without any extra parts to modify anything.
Love to see it built either way, don't see many of these.

Kiljoy here ! ....Of course, in reality, big wheels on low profile tyres have little or no suspension travel or steering lock just to look cool - and make for a horrible hard ride.

You can't drive a model Ron, and yes you're right full scale things like that look good, but you wouldn't be going for a pint of milk in one.
As far as fwd is concerned, Jay Leno has a mad one, think he made it rwd.

Years ago a guy in town put the engine/transaxle setup in the back, yes, BACK, of an old mail delivery truck. Short and wide wheelbase. I always wondered how that thing handled.

Shay, they'd fit as it's a promo kit with ye olde steel axles and a one piece chassis. Still sticking with the factory wheels though.
