Who here likes promos...?

Who here loves promos like i do..?   I love bringing them back to the condition they deserve to be in since there pieces of history myself.   My passion for them are the very late 50s through mid 70s body style ones...have a small collection of them.  Some were mint when I got them others I have or need to restore yet once I can.  Some promos I like better than the kits of them and some promos are the only way to get the vehicle of them in scale.  Here is my small collection of them going off my poor memory....

64 Chevelle SS HT needs work and parts yet.
70 GTO restored.
64 Olds Cutlass convertible needs work and parts yet.
68 AMX mint or close.
69 Charger needs parts and work yet.
74 Cuda restored.
64 Fury HT mint or close.
68 Corvette roadster/convertible would be mint if the glass and posts frame was not missing.
68 Toronado needs parts and work yet.
65 Galaxie HT needs work yet.
66 Buick Skylark GS HT needs parts and work yet.
62 Buick Electra HT badly busted up body and glass.
67 Cadillac Coupe Deville HTs 2 of them both need pretty much the same parts an work.
59 Galaxie wagon needs a ton of parts and work yet shes really rough.
59 Lincoln HT needs parts an work yet.
63 Falcon convertible needs parts and work yet.
67 Chrysler 300 HT needs parts ad work yet shes rough.
65 Dodge Coronet HT...shes pretty nice needs very little yet.
63 Mercury Parklane convertible needs parts and work yet.
70 Maverick needs parts and work yet.

So....Who here loves them as much as me..?

Meeeeee! I've just about given up on 'modern cars' though I'll buy the C8 Corvette when it's out. I've just got a '64 Olds Cutlass convertible from ebay. And there's a '67 and '72 Toronado. '61 Tempest and a '61 Buick Special wagon on the bench/ in the stash.
Only thing stopping me buying more is the poor AUD/USD exchange rate.

Regarding promos and rare models, at the Drastic Plastics website, "Goofy62's gallery" is an incredible example of what can be done. From chrome to perfect color combos and near perfect interiors, it shows how good the old models can be. Thanx for ur interest.

Very cool. My first real car was a 72 Toronado. I have not given up on models ether..love them both.
