The Bluth Company Stair Car "Arrested Development"
Hi guys! Curt, Shay, your prompting has made me decide to post a little.
I've been very busy and haven't been at the bench very much. But I have a little and this is what I am working on.
I love watching reruns of the comedy show Arrested Development on NetFlix. I wanted to make a model of one of the running jokes on the show. On the show the family business has taken a downturn and after they sell the company jet the keep the stair "car" to use as the family car.
I am using the Revell 1993 F350 Dualy frame and suspension with the newly re-released 1978 "Firestone" F150 cab. The rest is scratch built.
Here is what I have so far.

Mitch.... Now there is a different subject...but I like it..! The best 1 ton duallie wheels and tires i have seen are from the Monogram 80s/90s Ford 1 ton duallie pickup kit. Going to be interesting to see where this goes...

I just knew you couldn't stay away Mitch. lol
Very nice.
Are you still putting spanners on classic cars?
There used to be some nice stuff in that workshop.

Great start to a truly weird and unique build! I didn't get hooked into AD but did watch some of the episodes ... enough that when I was scrolling thru the pics I saw Gob doing something stupid while "The Final Countdown" was playing in the background, lol. Looking forward to this one.
