I was never a fan of the show, but when I found out the Beverly Hillbillies truck was an Oldsmobile, I had to have one. Rather than make it the beat up TV version, I've done it as a promotional vehicle.
Went together well enough, but it's an old kit and the tooling is showing it's age. Two wheels were unusable, so I did my first attempt at respoking them. About 8/10 there, but they will do. So here it is on a fine Saturday morning. It's finally cooled down enough to build again!

Beautiful build! Though I'm a fan of 'beat up' models its also nice to see something that was beat up in 'real life' displayed in more pristine condition.

Looks stunning! Great job. I would have known about the wheels if you wouldn't have mentioned it. Keep 'em comin'!

Nice clean work. Even old cars were new and shiny at some point in time.

I wouldn't think of doing it as a stock showroom vehicle. Very cool,very clever!

I like this much better then the BH kit version, well,done on the wheels.
