Re: Long Range Desert Group
Thanks guys.
It's been so long since I did any modelling let alone military, that I screwed up by clear coating and adding the decals before doing the pre-shading and chipping!!!!!! DOH!!!!
So now i've matt coated and now need to see if I can spray the pre-shading fine enough to avoid covering the decals!!!
Oh buy, what a bozo!!!!

Re: Long Range Desert Group
Wasn't going to do the pre shading tonight but thought I'd better get it done rather than let it play on my mind. Looks like I may be able to make it work.
Next up will be to spray more Desert Yellow in the 'boxes' then spray the same colour over the pre-shading. That will be the make or break methinks!!!

Awesome work! The shading/painting is stunning, can't wait to see it weathered.

Re: Long Range Desert Group
Thanks for the kind words guys.
I did some very light streaking but it was so light, it barely shows in the photos.
I followed this up with some AK Africa Dust effect. I'll see what it's like when it's fully dry and decide wether it needs more or some taking off.
It's all a bit glossy at this stage but will improve greatly when dull coated.
