Thanks gents. I'm quite happy with it. I've never seen the 1:1 but in a coincidence, there's the Cosworth version up for a local auction. There can't be many Vegas in Aus, there are a very few Monzas running around.

A great conversion, Chris.
There aren't many Vegas left over here either. They rusted, fallen apart, or turned into drag cars.

Vegas and Chevettes had a bad reputation as Detroit tried to battle the imports on a tight budget. One or both had engine troubles and a host of minor bugs.
Great work! I did one (MPC) back in the day as a drag racer, opening up the rear hatch as well. Thanx for the treat of a rare one in plastic or on the road!
