1972 Pontiac Trans Am
We all are going to have to get busy if we are going to keep up with Mr H. ....
I started this one this week. Base of gold then the red and several coats of clear. I need to find some "Trans Am" decals in gold for the sides. I plan to wet sand this and clear it again before a rigorous polishing.
I got some resin wheels for this build.

I agree with Shay Mitch, stance and wheels are spot on!!! So is the paint.

Great stuff. Putting a base colour down really makes the final coat stand out. Have you cleared over the decals? I wouldn't dare, I have enough grief with clear coating as it is.

You can always do a test on a decal Dave, I've never really had a problem with acrylic clear, (tamiya or Halfords or Holts or Promatic) over decals as long as they're bet onto the car with Microsol.

Awesome paint job! That colour and tone are just gorgeous and totally highlights the Firebird decal in a perfect way.
