Re: Shelby Cobra (Fujimi)
The black stripes are fantastic! I especially like the 'side stripes' for the accent effect, very nice.

Re: Shelby Cobra (Fujimi)
Okay, thanks all, I've got a lot of catching up to do.
Drilled out the distributor.
Scratched a fuel pump.
Got some base colours down on the block.
Got some colour to the block. Sticking with the read & black theme for this.
Base colour on the intake manifold.
Preparing the shocks for detailing.
Shocks painted according to the theme.
Started colour detailing the carb.
General progress.
Wired in the distributor.
Looking at this poor excuse for an alternator. I used a steel pipe for the fuel rail.
I'll remove it and replace from the spares box.
Raplaced the alternator with something more convincing.
Engine installed and also added an ignition coil.
Metalising the fuel tank.
Wheels painted to the colours I want. I'll add some Good Year decals later.
Radiator and expansion tank installed and plumbed up a bit. I will need to scratch an oil pump somehow.
Made an oil pump and an extinguisher with decals from the spare box. I think it looks good.

Good to see you back at it Dave.
That fire extinguisher looks like it would actually work!

Engine and detailing look fantastic. I had my doubts about the engine when I saw how they molded the manifold, but when it's covered up by the air cleaners, it's actually a good representation.

Soldier on.
Scratched the oil pump.
Started laying down carpet.
Added a steering box and column. I just guessed the position and it probably wont meet the steering wheel exactly but the bodywork will cover that part.
Made a battery and wired it up.
Dealt with the instruments. I have them all in perfectly centred but after dropping clear on top the lensing effect is making them look off centre.
Firewall and seats in. I'm using a steering wheel from the spares box.
I'm pretty much out of seatbelt materials so I'm just winging it with scrap bits and bobs.

Awesome work! I have a crappy Cobra stashed as a 'badly built parts kit' and your work is making me want to buy a good kit and try again. I especially like the colour combo.
