Well she's finished.

I wasn't expecting a great result from this kit and it didn't dissapoint. It's a very old kit which is evident in it's simplicity. Check out the molded in front and rear side lights and inducators. Also look at those attrocious headlights.!!!

I think on reflection I should have got the Tamiya version. Renault Maxi Turbo Group B Armata_PDT_31 Oh well!!

So it will join the Audi Quattro Rally car at the back of the display cabinet.

Great job you did there sir, I have the Tamiya one but the doors and boot don't open... Unless these aren't meant too and you modified it?

Very cool color scheme. I can see the cost-cutting flaws, from body to rear turbo area. A shame really. Here in U.S. in stock trim the R-5 had big side labels "Le Car" and was marketed as a cute commuter car. Lack of interest in making it more "American" doomed it as were all other Renaults here. On the plus side they were quickly forgotten since they rusted pretty fast. Yours would at least get commuters home, and fast!
