Anyone know the powers that be over to MCM?
I have been over there as OldTrucker since Harry (RIP) allowed me to come back but not allowed to post.
The idea was that I would transition to having my posts screened before posting and eventually be allowed full privilege. Harry was going to see about it when his health took a turn for the worse so I did not pursue the matter out of respect for him.
I have been there now since March. 11 2015 and still get this notice " You are currently restricted from posting content. " over there.
That is why I ask if anyone that knows the Moderators of who ever is in charge that can ask whether or not I will ever be allowed to post.
Thanks in advance for any help I may receive.

Just create a new account from a different location under a new screen name. I have a feeling you'll never get the answers you are looking for.

I personally don't know why anyone bothers with that place.

LOL,
Been a few years since I stopped trolling model forums.
I would always come across some of the  the same guys that were posting the same thing. Figured I was not in a mind to comment on things I already had commented on.
One group I had been in for quite a while, created a category that I was mostly into, Traditional  hot rods with a cutoff date for year. Anything newer that that was forbidden. Was fine with that until I posted a model that I had changed the valve covers which were evidently 'newer' than the cut of date.
I seldom know the make or vintage of parts I use out of my extensive 'salvage yard'.
After that admonishment, I figured it wasn't for me to redundantly spread my own crap in every model site on the internet. BTW, I was in MCM, briefly, but that guy rubbed me wrong for some reason.
I finally alighted in this forum. It was Shark's Realm at the time. Bucksters, and finally, Skids place. I have stayed here exclusively ever since.  . This group has been great.

I did a brief jaunt back to Scale Auto Community a bit ago,but was soon accosted by some nit picking rivet counter. Shot that venture and I'm just staying here. ( unless I tick Skid off......again)

Maybe so, but I will not try and backdoor into any site. If I can't get in legit then I don't want in.
Just would not feel right.

All sites are different and hold different things that others may want to see of be involved with.
In my case their truck section would be of value to me as well as their trade sections.

I like this site, we're more active than others, but that said, there are benefits to surfing. Drastic Plastics, Vintage Drag, and some others have unique posts and sections. Still, this one is my main spot!
