Great work, again. Gotta admit - that graphic is definitely unique. Probably belongs to the garage owner's kid.

Re: 65 Chev stepside
The concept for that little cartoon was conceived many, many years ago in a little sketch book that I often doodled in (years before Hans Solo got molded into a doorway). There were several on that theme of a head straining to get out of a cube. This didn't turn out as well to justify the concept.

Looks great Clay. I guess I should pay better attention. I didn't even know you had a Truck build going till I saw it on Facebook yesterday.

That really nice Clay, any pics of the black rusted stepside that's beside it there in the first pic?

Nice job Clay although I'm none to keen on the graphics. But then again, I'm not keen on graphics per se!

Re: 65 Chev stepside
Boy That's older'n dirt ! I built it for the shop truck. Fortunately, even though I don't have photo of it in my computer (that I know of) I had hosted them in another club's Fotki albums way before Photobucket, and they survived the Fotki crash there, and I can still get them. Interesting note: I had made 6 carburetor scoops out of elbow macaroni and while stored with the garage out in the shop and they were eaten by vermin of some sort. By the time I had discovered that, I had acquired a set of 6 in the salvage yard.

Beautiful builds! The stepside is gorgeous and the 'Not For Hire' is equally cool. I'm not gonna go near the pasta thing, lol.

Re: 65 Chev stepside
They're both G-r-r-r-e-a-t!!!! The '65 as a stepside has the traditional look of older ones, so maintains the formal image. The color, too, works beautifully, and the bold graphic is fine with me. When I thinkof the Pontiac "screaming chicken" hood graphic of the era, yours looks pretty tame!
What makes the "not for hire" earlier one really good is that it's not over modified. Thanx for 2 more beauties.
