Revell 1965 Chevy Stepside pickup.
Went together really nicely, had a blast at the graphics.
Attempted extras like picking out detail in the chrome parts with paint and adding a few scratch extras, added some yellow in with the glue to give the headlight lenses that amber look, moved the spare to the truck bed and adjusted the underslung bracket to hold it there.
Boy does the camera pick out all the little overspray bits or what ..... and i never realised it was so dusty in my little cupboard either ...... and yes there's a huge bloody fingerprint on the rear window ... DOH !!!!
Comments welcome as per usual, insults taken on board as always lol

A soft Q-tip should take care of the finger print Colon. lol I applaud your daring paint scheme and color combination. Its not easy being green. lol Your extra details really bring it all together.

NICE! Love the colors, my high school colors. The design almost reminds me
of my wife's family tartan, but wrong colors. What do you use for plug wires?
Gotta me me some of that.---John

Wow!! Colin... that sure is a striking paint job, and aquired taste but nicely done too!
Love the engine bay detailing.
You sure it hasn't been parked up down some dark country Scottish lane?
It's called Kynar Wrapping Wire. Made in the USA. Stock number (for red) 209-4811 and is available in about 6/7 colours.
Colin, over here I get it at R.S.Components. Just bought a new 50m spool for £8.50 (17p/mtr) Compare that to some of the AM stuff. It's a tad oversized at .48mm o.d. but works for me.

Colin,
You have done a GREAT job on the Chevy P/U. I like the over the top paint work. And I too, like the engine detail. Along with the detail work on the grille and hubcaps..
VERY COOL!!!!

I'd like it better without the yellow, but it's your build. Engine area is tops, wheel/tire combo works too. I liked following the progress on this.

Colin: My first reaction to the paint job was WHOA!!!! The jury is still out for me. I must compliment you though on the skill and craftsmanship you have displayed here. The paint job is an example of an exceptionally difficult project done exceptionally well. The detailing of the engine and engine compartment is outstanding.

That is definitely eye catching Colin. I'm with John J. on this, the craftsmanship shown is not to be denied. Well executed build.

Thanks for the opinions and comments guys, i knew the colour scheme wouldn't be to everybody's taste and i'm pleased everybody's being honest.
Just thought i'd try something different.
