AMT '57 Chrysler 300C Empty AMT '57 Chrysler 300C

Got this one finished up this afternoon, AMT '57 Chrysler 300C airbrushed in MCW Chrysler cooper brown metallic and clear coated using 1K acrylic lacquer, wet sanded and polished, all chrome trim was done using chrome BMF, rear bumper was stripped and redone using chrome Alclad.

It is, It's Chrysler Copper brown, just looks different under studio lights, if I was to pop it outside in the sun, it would look more like this one

Yes, they would have done, back then they didn't have the clearcoats we have to day that stop the UV rays from bleaching the paint, I remember the early metallic finishes over here, and within a few years they had bleached so bad, and the UV had damaged the paint so much it used to flake off.
