MG TC - 1/16 Entex
I recently repainted the basement area which involved taking down all my model shelving and brackets. It's a great opportunity to take a close look at old builds, look for missing parts/repair, and clean off the dust that accumulates.
So, I thought I'd take this opportunity to post up some builds that never appeared online (some might even predate online)
Here's a 1/16 Entex MG TC that dates back to the early 80's maybe. The working folding hood on this one is a little funny - press it into place and it fits perfectly - but only for about 2 seconds, then POP! It sets where it wants to set. This one's been kept in a plastic case, so dust was minimal.
Looking at the photos now, I see a hole that was never filled. I'll have to look into that one.
Thanks for looking and hope you're not bored by going back to the old stuff.
Mike

Bored!.......... what's to be bored about Mike? This is a cracker of a build.
I part built this one a gazillion years ago but's don't remember what it was like. Are you able to comment on good/poor it is as I'd like to get another at some point.

Thanks guys.
As I recall, the kit is quite good and being 1/16th allows for good detailing. The doors were separate, but not hinged. I really liked the spoked wheels, as they are nicely thin and needed no cleanup. I checked underneath to see if the real maker's name was there, but it's not. Entex used to import many Gakken and Doyusha kits back then.

Nice old build. I remember those Entex kits. The spoke wheels look pretty good too.
