The big cat is finished and I'm happy to report that I have at last found a superglue that will glue rubber!!!! Yippeeeee!!!!

This is a very early Tamiya kit that was originally motorised, so it's basic with low detail but still builds up quite well.

Looks very nice Al, I never knew some of the tank kits were motorised.

What kind of superglue did you find?

well, that turned out nice

trick to 'glass' bits and CA fogging is a good coat or Kleer, works a treat

and a lot of the early Tamiya tanks were motorised

Looks good Al. Really like your cammo. Next time I'm in Lowe's I'll look for that Loctite. My next dark side project has vinyl tracks.

ahhh.....you cant get the old Johnsons stuff for floors (although i do still have a litre or so) but Humbrol sell it.....gloss and matt and satin....its supposed be exactly the same stuff as Kleer but its not cheap £5.49 per 125 ml
