Mini Cooper S
so the Brummbar is at the tinkering stage so i need something else on the bench
after a few armour subjects i want something a little cleaner lol
was given this as a leaving gift when i left my last place of work for my new one, bit tongue in cheek since we made a lot of the shiney bits that go on the Mini
going to do one of the two that come in the box but not sure what colour it will end up
its not a 'proper' mini,.....horrible things to drive in my opinion, but i can understand why they are so popular

Re: Mini Cooper S
My Mam had 03 Mini with the dreadful "stepped" CVT auto box.
I brought it up for a service and was given a loan car, basic 90 bhp version with a manual box, I thought it was good fun to wind up on the back roads to be honest Paul.

Re: Mini Cooper S
Fascinating video Paul. I wonder why real people still have to apply some paint.
What it was like in 1936.
Different but not by as much as you might imagine:

Re: Mini Cooper S
The kit looks very basic. Most interesting to me will be how to paint tires to make them look real. As to actual cars, promoted for their "go kart handling" I bet they are fun. For women, they're small, pert looking and have the cute and nostalgic (Beatles riding in one old vid) markets to themselves. Price, when reintroduced, wasn't bad either. Cute cute CUTE!

Re: Mini Cooper S
A lot of criticism about the 'new' Mini. Personally I think the designers did a good job of bringing it up to date whilst keeping the basic classic look. Ill follow along Paul.
