Humber Super Snipe
Humber Super Snipe, Airfix, 1/32nd scale
Monty's Humber
this was new tool back in 1973......i can remember doing it at some point in the late 70s and its been on my list of wanting another go at for nostalgia reasons ever since i took up this modelmaking lark again
at least i shouldnt have to weather this one up since cos its Monty's motor it would have been kept immaculate lol
and ive found a pic of the actual car with the man himself.............has the same reg number as in the kit

Looking forward to seeing this one. And, yeah, Monty's personal vehicle would be kept in tip-top shape (at least if I was assigned to his crew I'd be finding excuses to maintain the car and not hauling heavy boxes of supplies).

That's a bit disappointing!!
This one could be another candidate for Mile End Garage!!! LOL

Looks good. Seems a lot of 1/32 scale cars have those quirks about them. You've handled it well.

Looking great! Can't wait to see the body with some paint, the moulded details are great and should really pop out with the paint.

getting there slowly
im at that point where i cant do much at a time......do 5 minutes worth of work then leave it alone for it to dry or for the glue to go off

Re: Humber Super Snipe
For a small scale, it's pretty well detailed. A shame no engine. Waaay back when I did a 1/32 an MG 1100-a Saloon and an Austin (mini Cooper?). I thought they came with engines and astonishingly detailed multi-piece suspensions. Yours has a nice suspension and tiny door and hood side handles help show quality of the kit.
