AMT 1968 Plymouth Road Runner 383
Hey folks, some of you may remember this build from eScale, I finally finished it maybe 2 weeks ago, after it sat in its box for a few months and during the move to another province, before sitting on the bench for another month while I was busy fighting wildfires, luckily we got a break in the dry weather which means time to do things other than sleeping and working. A special thanks to Plastic Freak for sending me some wheels, they look wicked! and Keith Mark's for providing the decals for this kit. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks all!
Thanks! Curt was kind enough to send some my way, I think they go perfect with the look I wanted in this build, plain bone stock, Mopar performance.

I was wondering about this build recently. This turned out great, love the colour. What a great looking build, nice red line tire's too. I always liked those Chrysler wheels so much better then the normal "Crhrysler" wheels. I started working on a new mold of that wheel/tire combo today. Those Goodyear Poly glass tire's are awesome.

Very nice and clean build. Is this the GTX body?

Thanks Curt! Let me know how the new cast turns out!, Yes AMT did a wicked job on these tires, the white letters on the inner sides are nice too.

Thanks Shelby! if you mean the same body as the GTX, then yes they share the same body, Satellite/RoadRunner/GTX. But the kit itself is a 68' Road Runner kit.
Here it is sitting beside my 69' GTX (I think it was the 2nd kit I ever built)

Beautiful build and nice to see it together! A very 'stock' look indeed, just gorgeous.

AMT release different versions of the 68 Road Runner and one of the them the body has the GTX markings which is what I was referring to.
