Thanks guys, the whitewall decals aren't the best, but it does look better with them I think.

Curt, I have to finish up and old Golf Cabrio next, but there's a lowered 37 Chevy lurking around, it's painted too. The tail lights worked out! LOL

Turned out good. I'm just not a fan of white cars. 

Too bad the actual car you based your build on didn't have bumpers. In my opinion a full fender needs the bumpers. 

I notice your body has the same knackered mold spot above the trunk/boot lid that my second body had. The original body in my WIP did not have it. It was from the original 1997-1998 release.

My one says 1998 on the box Dan.

My box is marked 1996. The roadster I have is marked 1997. I wonder if they modified the molds for the roadster and knackered them up when the reissued the 3 window

Absolutely gorgeous, Shay. Great work.

I like the tallness of the engine, as it reflects the tall look of the body. As to white, since most models (AMT yearly new kits) came in white plastic, I never liked it. If there are enuf decals, as with a racer, then it works.
Best feature of this one is the tire/wheel combo, trim rings and white walls are cool indeed!
