Re: '34 Cabover
As Mr. Spock would say, "Fascinating."
I really like how this is forming up, the rear fender widening looks excellent and the grille shell looks like it'll match up nicely. The double rear tires give it a kind of 'tractor pull/mud bog' look despite the fact it's not a lifted, mega tire monster (more like the 'local fair' stuff I saw as a kid). Very cool!

Re: '34 Cabover
Getting here.Made an engine shroud from a junker Ala Carte hood. Not a whole lot of leg room in there, but that's not MY problem.
Also have the door hinged. Final sanding check and I will be ready for paint.

Leg room can be over-rated
This continues to develop in a fascinating manner, lol. Can't wait to see more

Re: '34 Cabover
Taking a small step backward. The cab has seemed to tilt towards the rear a bit, so, I'm trying to get it to sit more upright.

This puppy is in the final primer coat. I will start the painting soon. While it is gassing the paint, I'll be starting on phase 2.

This is a lot to take in Clay, but what really catches my eye is how you added the trim down the center of your nose to tie it all together. Great job!!

Re: '34 Cabover
The truck is painted and gassing out in the booth.
So, I'm getting into phase II. Making a kind of flatbed 5th wheel trailer.
I have an idea to use the rear portion of a junker roof to make a shroud, of sorts, for the hitch arm.
Using the unused portion of bed material from the old L 700 kit. Mocked up in this photo.

In the base color, a mixture of 1 Shot sign enamel. Plan to add embellishments to fit the theme of this build. I can start adding some of the details.
The 5th wheel hitch (imagineered) is about ready for the trailer to evolve.

Re: '34 Cabover
Nothing like mucking up the graphics on new paint !!! I let it get too busy on the doors.
Probably should have went to Sunday School instead !

Re: '34 Cabover
An odd looking vehicle, for sure, but it's weirdly appealing. The graphics don't seem too busy, especially if this is going to become a 'tow truck' of sorts. I like the name Fang as well

Re: '34 Cabover
Fenders are just mocked on here, but, the engine is installed.
The cab windows are in, and the interior is about ready to be installed. As soon as I get back out there :o)
