Am surprised BONDO both adheres and can be smooth enuf for small scale models.  Interesting!!

I plan to widen the fenders.
I have used Bondo as the primary filler on all of my builds. The most common mistake in using Bondo in any  application is using too much hardener. Too much results in a very weak mix !!! I mix mine to a VERY pale pink. I use 'Professional glazing and spot putty'. It is the same as regular automotive filler, and comes with a tube of hardener. Advance Auto carries this in a small handy hobby size. I use the regular glazing and spot putty for final imperfections.

This morning's session, I managed to get the front portion of the frame scratched.

Such a good job widening fenders. Way better than I could ever manage. Looking very interesting!

From the start, I had planned on melding the cab and front fenders into one unit. I still plan to. but, seeing as I am going to the trouble of including an engine, I had to figure out some way of just letting it be known that there is, indeed, one in there. So, glutton for punishment that I am , I've decided to have one of the doors opened to show the interior.

Finding I will have to do some more to keep the dualies inside of the edge of the rear fenders. So, I kinda tubbed them by adding to the inside !

In full size, I've seen fotos of a number of "home made" cabovers, yours is as good, if odd! Keep it up!

Wrestling with a couple of obstinate points. For one, my holdout to use at least the differential from the original truck parts is being discontinued ! That large pumpkin just don't want to fit in in any manner.
At least I have a floor pattern mocked in cardboard, that I can insert from the bottom.

'Bout ready to fit the cab and front fender assembly together.

Building the front fender to the grill shell. I'm trying to get this matched up good enough to not mold together into one unit like I had originally planned.
