Salvage pile roadster
I have this finished. I was afraid that it might look too much toyish ( a word to mess with spellcheck a bit). but considering the pile of salvage junk I started with, I guess I don't have to apologize for how crappy it looks.

Not bad in my opinion for starting with just a pile of mixed parts to work with Clay....besides it unique and one of a kind...

Another great creation, Cole. I love the little 'Cherry Bomb' style mufflers.

Very nice Clay, the red and green work nicely together.Just one question, the 'fella' in the background...............Is he a gelding?

Pretty good for a salvage build, I really like the front end and stance. The windshield makes me think of a runabout cedar strip boat.

Re: Salvage pile roadster
I understand what you mean "toyish", but still a great effort for a scarp yard build. You can always weather it and sit it beside the garage as an abandoned "Dream Rod", or something along those lines.

I see what you meant about the struggle to find a windshield that looked right. I agree on the cool muffler idea, a thing neglected all too often. Thanx for another entertaining visit to your "garage!"

Thanks all.
Buck it is destined to end up stashed in a box like most all of my other stuff. I often wonder what will happen to them all as the kids go through all of my crap after the funeral

We're making the same movie Clay. I wonder about that stuff myself.

Stop being morbid guys, you've got years yet and this place wouldn't be the same without you.
Anyway just leave everything to me!!!!!!

Yes, no time for morbidity. If it is important, put a codicil in a will or at least make things clear to close relatives. Here's to years of "the building addiction" ahead!

Love the creativity, and absolutely dig the stance, rear bumper, and interior. I get the "toyish" thought. I think I would have chopped that windshield down, to maybe half the height it is.

Re: Salvage pile roadster
Beautiful build especially given it's a parts box creation! I don't see 'toyish' but rather an enthusiastic mod - of course these sorts of builds can look a bit 'odd' because of their origin. Great result!
