2010 Camaro Imsa racer?

This is something I came up with going through my stash and bone yard. It will be a fictitious Race car that might run the imsa circuit or maybe the DTM series if they had one in the states. I had a Mercedes DTM racer that I had tossed in the boneyard a couple of years ago because the decals were junk. I thought what a waste of a cool chassis so I started looking through my stash and whala! Now we have a Camaro race car. I painted it with Createx pearl green and bought some Patron Nascar decals on ebay. Its a work in progress and will have a wing on the back. I may no get much done at the bench for awhile because I go in for total hip replacement on Monday.

Thanks Guys, One of my fellow modelers told me pain meds can make for some amazing crazy things at the bench, so we will see. lol
I will be out of work for at least a month and I do plan to be at the bench for at least the last half of it.

Thank guys! You caught that eh Curt? Its not real clear in the picture. I have been a Ron Fellows fan for many years. I had a few sets of the Daytona vette decals laying around and thought it would be nice make this kind of a tribute To Ron, He always was a Chevy guy anyway.

Well fellas, I'm out of the hospital Still walking with a walker, but once they turn me loose with a cane probably next week I will get back to the bench.

Progress has been very slow due to the hip replacement. I am feeling better and able to move around pretty well now, so I got some more done on this little gem. I used a rear wing from a Corvette race car and got all the lights and glass installed. I have a few odds and ends to do bfore she is complete but it is almost complete.

Amazing work in melding the two kits into a seamless build. Well Done and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Thanks guys, I'm 2 weeks out of surgery, hip feels strong and good. My biggest issue is the other hip is bad as well, so my biggest battle is how to recover and get the new one stronger without causing more issues with the bad one. PT has been tough but effective.
