They actually had a class in NASCAR back in the 50's that ran as convertibles. I'll be following this for sure Nigel.

Well it is a hard top now,got the roof on earlier and got it sprayed Zero paints 'resale' red..Pics latr.

They ran verts here locally and up north well into the mid 60's.

Nice paint on body and chassis! Ouchies on the slip - but the way I figure it we scale modellers have done that so often our bodies are used to it. At least that"s how I console myself whenever I do the same.

I like the idea of a 'what if' NASCAR Nige..........
