This is a model of a Russian Morane Saulnier 'Parasol'.  The cats arching at the red star are Bolshevik markings from the early 20's, while the scull and bones tail is a leftover from a popular WWI flying group.  The kit was half vacuform - half Revell Eindecker.  I did learn that these vacuform kits require more advance planning than I did.  But, it was a fun build.  I added step rungs, engine detail, windscreens, Lewis MG, different tail piece and spoked wheels.

Something d*mn impressive! The rigging, after everything else, AND the spoke wheels, take a bow, you should be proud for meeting the challenge of it!

You've got a beautiful looking bird there, sir. The detailing is impressive, especially given the scale, and it certainly doesn't look like a vac form kit. Excellent build! Morane Saulnier 'Parasol' Model L - Vacuform 1/72 1705482731
