#20 Tony Stewart Home Depot Grand Prix
Here is one of my latest NASCAR builds. This is Tony Stewart's 2001 ride for Joe Gibbs Racing that is built from a Revell kit. The body is painted with Testors Competition Orange enamel that was decanted and sprayed with an airbrush. This kit included vinyl air duct hoses instead of those molded in plastic. Otherwise, its a standard Revell NASCAR kit. Enjoy!

It's easy to tell you love those NASCAR racers with the results you get. Clean, crisp and the decals are always very tidy.

What seems odd is how few of the NASCAR models are built as weathered, with battle damage. Seems like an obvious way to personalize an otherwise "cookie cutter" style kit. But then, to bring a crumpled, torn look to any model is challenging.
