Parents are a worry

Hi all well today is a bad day for me, my dad is 84 and I've been told by my mum he's gone into hospital with a chest and urine infection, he's on 24 hour oxygen and nebuliser, dosent look good my mum is complaining of pain in her lungs but won't see or tell a doctor as "she has to be there for dad" has sworn me not to mention to docs (I'm going to anyway) don't think things are looking very good.

I hope that they both pull through

Always hard choices in this life! Sometimes we just have to put trust in doctors and/or religion or even just our genes, inherited toughness from ancestors. Many folks going through similar hardships with fast aging relatives and kids. My thoughts and hopes are with you.

Hi all thanks for the kind words, docs been told, she's strained her chest, probably trying to move my dad on her own, instead of asking for help knowing her. she used to be a nurse and thinks she can still do it all.
