1/4 Scale Super Stock Hemi

This is Hawk kit number 11057.



Start off with putting the block together.











Then comes the assembly of the cylinder heads.





Intake manifold and heads go onto the block. The valve covers also go on at this time.





Oil pan and flywheel follow.



Then it all goes onto the stand.



The two Holley Carbs are next.







Now it time for the bolt ons. Alternator,starter,water pump, distributor, coil, fuel pump.















While the glue is drying on all that stuff time to put the headers together.









And now the coolest part of the kit. The air cleaners or lack there of.





Time to start putting all the assembled stuff onto the block.











The fuel lines and filters are in way to many pieces that don't fit right and require a lot to make them look fair. This is the only real hard part of the kit.



Add spark plug wires, loom connectors and air cleaners and it's a done deal.

Thanks. I have 6 1/4 scale engines in my "Man Cave" or as my wife calls it "The Dungeon". Recently found an old display case that with a little paint proved to be just right.



Still have room to add two more on the bottom shelf when I find them.

So cool. Nice looking set up. Some day when we settle in one house (we live in and flip homes) I'll build a man cave model room. I see ya got one of the goffer (forget his name) stuff toys too. Why'd they stop promoting that camera and caricature in NASCAR?

This looks so cool, I haven't seen many engine kits over here, especially large V8's, you have a great collection Sir, is that Chuck the Gopher from Caddyshack, he rocks...

That's Chuck. He needs new batteries. My 4 year old Grand daughter likes to dance with him and that eats them up.
