Miller Mustang 1/24th

Going through the stalled builds as a New Year's resolution.  This was a garage sale find and was started.  I deconstructed it and got new decals.  A lot of the paint used must have been Rustoleum or something, because it wouldn't come off completely.  But, it's finished now and can go sit on the shelf.  From far away, it's not too bad.



A little warpage here.






Since the plug wires are molded on the cam cover, no wiring here.




Chalk up 1 stalled build for 2016.  Hooray!

Looks good. Where did you get the decals from?

It looks good from where I'm standing Mike and if you don't want it, send it to me and I'll be pleased to put it in one of my display cabinets.

Sure looks good from this distance Mike. The good work you did on the decals really hid the problems you mentioned. Like Skid, I'd be glad to put it on my shelf.

I luv that one.  In the U.S. not many of those road racer type kits and I really like them.  The others were Mustangs and Camaros that shared everything except bodies and engines. Tamiya had the Capri, but I think it lacked an engine.  Thanx for one I'd have proudly on my shelf.  I have that and the other kits, looks like I'll not get to them anytime soon, but I can enjoy seeing yours here, thanx!

It's been a couple of years since I bought them, but I think this is the place, since they also have the Spirit of Sebring set I got:

They are reproductions, so the fine scriptwork isn't as sharp as the originals.

I don't recall the blue striped version.  I thought the Klaus Ludwig Zakspeed car was the only version that was campaigned over here initially.  There is another blue 4cyl available, but that's a later model.
