We get the odd koala in our yard, this was a bonus, a female with a joey. That was Saturday, she'd moved on by this morning.

We see an occasional deer, but seldom anything else. You are lucky in that you have such exotic animals in Australia.

Its a box tree. The koala won't eat its leaves, but its the tallest tree in our yard, with lots of forks for a koala to wedge itself into.

Koalas are finding life harder in the outback.  Count yourself lucky to have the zoo come to you!  They are cuter than pandas (and a lot less dangerous)!
