I love the early sixties cars. They still retained such individuality.
Nice one Chris!

Seconded. You could tell a cars identity a hundred feet away, now with a few exceptions you have to get close enough to read the badge.

Re: Olds F-85 Wagon
Back then, I could identify almost all cars at night by the configuration of their lights in the rear view mirror. Try that to-day!

Re: Olds F-85 Wagon
Too true on distinctive design of brands. That said, folks finally realized many vehicles that looked different really shared a majority of parts anyway. As for the small Olds wagon, nice work, but a contrasting interior (something in a light color) would help set it off as having more character. I did the same as you with an early Chevy II, red and red, and immediately regretted my choice. Thanx for a sweet old wagon, reminds me of Arnie Beswick's (Mrs. B's. Grocery Getter) small Pontiac wagon of the early '60s.

Hi Mr W,
This looks very sweet Sir, nice clean build, road going Drag strip hooligan...
Hi Al,
Roger that Sir, this is why I really love the older cars, no jelly moulds back then and each vehicle had it's own identity and personality, these days they're just like the robots that build them...
