My birthday was last week.  This week was the birthday of my five year old great-grandtwins.  Last night we had a combined birthday party.  Come to find out that the twins wanted to make me a model for my birthday.  Here are a couple of photos of the twins and the car they made for me.

The twins picked out the model they wanted and the paint colors.  Their dad glued it for them and they painted it with craft paints.  Not bad for a couple of five year olds me thinks.  Maybe there is hope for the hobby after all.

Sweet looking grandkids John. You must be proud of them Bro!

I think they did good for five year olds and that model MUST take pride of place in your collection John.

Cool John!! Great to see their interest in the hobby of their great grand dad. They obviously are paying attention to what you do. What a fabulous example.

If that was a present to me, it definitely would have a prized place on the shelf!!

Christmas time becomes family time! Thanx for the foto and story. It reminds me of a You Tube I discovered recently. A Dad introduces his 2 young daughters then plays "Walking In A Winter Wnderland" as Harry Connick, Jr. did on the piano in a New Orleans style. Here's a link to ithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pjWpLWJg7o, It was (if the web is correct) in the film "When Harry Met Sally."
