Supposed to be an example in a museum in Europe.... That's what the text says.
Anyway there was one at acorn antiques? In Nottingham years ago (with a ferret.... Hmmmm) and it looked like this picture.

Colin.... you could be right. I was just going by the depth of field. It seems very shallow for a 1:1

Colin... the more I look at that photo, the more I realise it's the genuine article...... but it sure has a shallow depth of field.

OK.... with that settled, I finished the 'basket'. When it's fitted to the turret, it's impossible to see the left side of the left seat, so I didn't bother to strain my eyes and nerves brush painting the padding!!! LOL

Added the gun:

The front hatches didn't look right in the open position with nothing but fresh air to support them... so I made some simple supports:

Almost time to get messy!!! (weathering) M3A1 Stuart Tank 1:35 - Page 2 1792231099

I started the weathering process by doing a pin wash with AK Africa Dust in all the places I thought sand would build up.

Looking fine and dandy Al.

The hatch props look proper, if you notice them on the picture I posted yours are spot on.

I'm really wanting to get another of these and do it complete with turret, as I said the last one was done as a turretless honey......

I should have most of the turret assembly in my bit-box if you get an urge to change yours out at all Al.

Here you go Sam:

www.ak-interactive.com

I believe the guy that owns the business Miguel (Jiminez?) use to own MIG Products until he had a split with his partner, when he left and set up AK.

I've used both and can't really find any difference between them.

Excellent weathering job, Al. I can't imagine being stuck in that confined space in the desert heat.

I'm currently reading Bill O'Reilly's book, Killing Patton about the suspicious death of George Patton, Commander of US forces in North Africa. Very interesting.

The weathering looks great, Al. I was looking at the picture and thinking what the guy at the car wash would say if you pulled up to run it through.

Forgot to say guys, that 'Killing Patton' book sounds like a good read. Have to buy it for my tablet.

I added the turret gun and a few other bits and pieces.

The instructions were vague about the location points of the cable. so in error I cut it too short. It should go from one front shackle to one rear shackle. Oh well!! To compensate, I added a hook eye and a rather over scale nut and bolt. Don't think 'nut and bolt' think 'large hexagonal handwheels' instead. LOL

Just need to add some Africa Dust to these bits, add and weather the tracks and she is done.

COOL! Looks like the "flying Bradley" photo I posted on my Bradley build.

The question is, how did the car survive?
