Airco DH II 1/48th
Here it is all finished.
the more noticeable of you will notice that it's only the last picture that has the rigging on the wheel carriage.
this is because i'm a plank and forgot to do it ....i took the main set of photies, noticed it, so did a quick rig-up and took the last image.
The decals were terrible to try and work with, just a couple of seconds in water and they'd separated, they ripped very easily too so a few touch ups were needed.

I think this is a real high quality build. The rigging really catches the eye and just rocks.

Colin: Great job on the rigging. At the rate you are turning out these plane you are going to be the "go to guy" for rigging questions.

It's easy, just work from the inside out .... and make sure you have enough hair to pull out before you start

Excellent, really great work. The wood look of the prop, all the rigging and decals, if imperfect, look more authentic as I'm sure wear and tear made "touch ups" necessary. They were forever replacing cloth and metal hit by bullets. Thanx for a grand idea executed and shared here!

Excellent work all around, Colin. Great patience with the network of rigging. Very clean and well painted. Now it has to be enclosed to keep the dreaded dust off the rigging.
Awesome job.

You were brave to tackle that rigging Colin but you did a great job all round.
To quote a phrase from the magazine article..... thats 'too much string'!! LOL
