Yellow Submarine

Model kit as offered by AMT
Want to build this as a real ship model not the bathtub toy as designed by AMT. Here are all the parts from the box.
Lots of filling required
Conning tower has four periscopes
Had to eliminate the crank and wheels and fill in the air holes and seal up side hatches.
Going to use 1-Shot lettering enamels to brush paint my sub. Had to carefully draw the color div. lines. Found an appropriate base and countersunk some holes for the aluminum support tubes.
Almost finished.
Decals on, were done. Now Skid will sing his favorite song " WE ALL LIVE IN A YELLOW SUBMARINE" , ..........................I cant hear you!

I thought that was Skid I heard singing. Love what you are doing with this kit. Looks cool.

It's called an 'ear worm' Colin and it's going to annoy the hell out of you!!! 
It could be a good subject for a CB..... build it any way except stock!! Could prove very interesting!!!

Summer of '66, if this flawed memory works. Movie came later. Very nice work and highly prized as a collectible. Clean build and great paint work!

Cool! As HUGE Beatles fan, I note they don't get a mention on the box, but the characters are there.
