just looked up the reg number
HNG669L was originally black, first registered 1st September 1972 with a 1558cc engine in Norfolk which is of course where the factory is
theres no vehicle of this registration showing up as taxed or insured.....wonder what happened to it

It seems it was bought by Mike Kimberly of the lotus f1 team and Ronnie Peterson and Emmerson Fitipaldi drove it round the track just before the British grand prix and killed it in 12 laps
It was liveried in John Player and used as a promo for a John Player cigarette photo shoot.
