Which configuration should I use?
Re: Mile End Garage.
Nice structural work there Al.... The wooden joists have a nice bit of detail now you can see it after a wash.

Hi Al,
Kudos Sir, I really don't know how your managing to stick with this with all it's flaws, I think I'd have stuck a couple of screws through it to hold it together, that or launch it towards the bin...
Please keep the great work up...
Andy...

Interior looks great, Al. Nice work with those washes.
Looks like it's quite tight in the annex - are you planning to complete all the interior before gluing it on?

Re: Mile End Garage.
Thanks guys.
Oh! I thought about it Andy, have no doubt about that. But sheer bloody mindedness keeps me going on it!! LOL
It's already fastened to the base Mike. The inside of the two roof sections will be painted before attaching but the rest will be painted when I'm fully finished with the construction. Too many 'corrections' to do, to think about painting first.
The old 'Two steps forwards and one step back' strikes again. No sooner is one problem solved when up pops several more.!!! Oh Joy Of Joys!! LOL
I attached the gable end and then trial fitted the larger roof section.
The underside has some locating slots which match the the cladding on the gable end.
That's fair enough but when lined up, things go wrong at the lower end:
I plan on cutting out the blacked out section, which should, I think, correct both problems.

Re: Mile End Garage.
That is quite a gap but still way better than what you started with. Nice work AL.

Re: Mile End Garage.
Methinks you have pulled that off nicely.
It'll look even better with a coat of paint on it as well

Re: Mile End Garage.
That's a neat clamp you have flattening out the roof Al. Just hope you have fast drying glue.

Re: Mile End Garage.
Looks great Al The weathering looks close to how I think it should look and the annex roof will be good, you won't even see the little gap or notice the slight bow.

Nice going Al.
Your making a silk purse out of a pigs ear with that building. Can't wait to see more brickwork
and timber frame finished.

Sometimes the flaws in a kit are THE challenge! You've done really well and changes for looks all seem good to me. Weathering can, of course, vary depending on taste and appearance one is working toward. Thanx!

Re: Mile End Garage.
I think you are on target with this one. I would have put it back in the box long ago. The dusty look for the rafters and roof is spot on.
